16 billion people live every day in the worst conditions imaginable. The UN has designated Oct 5, 2009 as annual World Habitat Day to relfect on the world's housing crisis and exchange ideas and solutions.

Cincinnati Habitat for Humanity is building 10 new homes and renovating 1 in 2009. This month we take you to meet the families who will be achieving the goal of home ownership thanks to the many donors, volunteers, sub-contractors and others who will join to make this possible. Building Michelle's Dream

On Saturday, December 20, 2008, Michelle Moses was driving home from college when she was in a fatal car accident. Michelle has inspired many around the world with her volunteer efforts. She spent her spring break the previous year in New Orleans helping to rebuild homes after Hurricane Katrina. To keep her memory alive and carry on her dream, those who knew and loved her are contributing their time, labor and money to build a house with Cincinnati Habitat. Joining the family and friends will be Luxottica and Sunglass Hut associates from around the world.
